Overview

Some regimes are too extreme, too small, or too costly to measure. This study reached them in simulation, then made the results legible enough to act on.

01

Challenge

The regime of interest sat beyond what the lab could reach directly. Any conclusion had to come from simulation that was trustworthy, not just plausible-looking output.

02

Approach

Chose numerical methods suited to the problem's scales, verified them against known limiting cases, then swept the parameter space and analysed the results with an eye on convergence and error.

03

Outcome

A defensible map of behaviour across a regime the lab couldn't touch — with the caveats and confidence bounds stated plainly rather than hidden.
